Avalon Carpets began trading in St Johns Wood in 1982. Offering Carpets,vinyls, Amtico and Linoleum.
A family run business offering personal service quality products and an exceptional installation service. Gary opened the shop in Janurary 1982 with his Father Bill running the shop and his Brother David doing the installations alongside Gary and the team of four additional floor layers.
We relocated to St Albans in 1989.
Gary decided to open a new shop in Berkhamsted in June 2006 as a specialist wood flooring shop. Due to the amount of work that we were doing in this area.
Due to the volume of work generated from both shops a decision was made to purchase a brand new purpose built Warehouse in Hemel Hempstead, and close the two shops.
Thus having a fantastic selection of products under one roof, Storage facilities second to none,and plenty of free customer parking.
